Paul is a serial tech entrepreneur focusing on Data Governance and Sovereign AI with 20+ years of experience in Sustainability, Sustainable Finance, ESG, and impact investing. As CEO of Persevere Consulting, he advises governments and multinational organizations on operationalizing digital sovereignty—translating legal risk into technical architecture and governance. He is leading development of SOVERENTIA^™, a Sovereign AI governance platform.

He recently co-founded Données Souveraines Québec, an industry association promoting sovereign data practices across public and private sectors, of which he is president. Previously, Paul was CEO at impak Analytics, an ESG and impact data provider and rating agency. He has served on various Boards and currently serves on the mission committee of Banque Wormser Frères. Paul holds an MBA in Finance from HEC Montreal and is a native French and English speaker.

Our co-founder is a privacy and data governance leader with 12 years of consulting experience in Europe and North America. He leads a privacy practice at a major international consulting firm and serves on the board of international professional associations in the privacy and data governance field.

He has extensive experience building high-performing teams, developing and operationalizing privacy programs, and guiding organizations through complex compliance frameworks including GDPR and Quebec's Law 25. He has advised clients across financial services, utilities, industrial, media, and public sectors. Fluent in French, English, and Spanish, he combines legal expertise with practical, operational leadership.

Claude is a serial entrepreneur and scientist with a Ph.D. in cognitive computer science. With nine technology ventures to his name, this Rivière-du-Loup native carries on the tradition of a long line of entrepreneurs from the Lower St. Lawrence. Claude completed his doctoral studies under the supervision of Dr. Yoshua Bengio (Turing Award 2018) and received the Université de Montréal Medal in 2004.

A creative visionary and seasoned software developer, Claude pioneered a revolution in grammar-checking technology through AI, found in software such as Correcteur 101 and Antidote. An expert in natural language processing, deep learning, and generative AI, he also teaches these disciplines at the university level. He holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Computer Science (2020), an M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence, and a B.Sc. in Physics.

Jean is a technology and business expert with more than 20 years of experience in data protection, privacy, and solution architecture. He helps organizations transform complex technical challenges into innovative business opportunities by bridging customer needs and cutting-edge technologies.

At Persevere Consulting, Jean is responsible for Product Ownership of SOVERENTIA^™, the cloud-based private and sovereign AI platform for organizations. His expertise in data governance, information security, privacy, cloud computing, and enterprise architecture plays a key role in the platform’s strategic direction and development.

With experience in presales consulting, strategic account management, and delivering multimillion-dollar projects, Jean is recognized for making complex technical concepts accessible. He is an important member of the Persevere Consulting team and acts as a trusted advisor to organizations seeking to strengthen their digital sovereignty and technological resilience.

Tima is a seasoned leader and strategist with a decade-plus tenure as Head of Operations at Impak Ratings Inc., where she grew the organization from 5 to 120 employees based on principles of cross-functional management, collective intelligence, and professional co-development, creating a far more resilient team in which each individual felt valued.

As an organizational-development consultant, she has designed and animated creative processes that stimulate collective intelligence and participatory problem-solving for public, private, and nonprofit clients. Her earlier leadership roles—such as Managing Director at SoliCités—reflect sustained experience converting vision into strategy and managing complex stakeholder ecosystems.
